Calvan Christ is a bass guitarist and educator with over two decades of performance experience, and 10+ years experience as a music instructor and mentor. Calvan was a student of the jazz studies program at the University of Oregon, and he enjoys studying, playing, and teaching all styles of music from jazz standards to modern progressive metal and everything in between. He currently plays in bands local to San Diego, CA, and is available for live gigs, session work, and one-on-one mentoring. 

Calvan is an avid surfer and hiker, and he enjoys spending his free time exploring the outdoors and camping with family and friends.
